Project «Mirrorverse»
Our vision has a physically limited ability to focus. Every fraction of a second we choose what we will see in the space around us — whether it be a butterfly on a flower bouquet in our hands or the whole bouquet itself, or maybe a whole flower showcase in the boutique at the corner of the crossroad. We cannot see all these things at the same time together. Moreover, by unconscious thinking we always try to organize what we see. Give it a clear, understandable form. To define the distance of objects whether it is close or far away. It helps us to choose our next action — should we walk down a pedestrian crossing or immidiately jump off a car crossing the road.
Imaging, if we get into a space where it is difficult for to navigate by the usual methods?
Философские вопросы
The project intends viewers try to find answers on questions like:
- Is everything we see what we think?
- Where are the borders of truth and falsehood? How do we recognise where the reality ends and illusion starts?
- Whether it is important to see these lines or not?
- What do you choose — reality or illusion?
- If you can confuse illusion and reality, what colud be the price of error?
Цель проекта
When we find ourselves in unusual circumstances, our conscious thinking is activated. We study this space more closely and more carefully. Make connections between what you saw consciously. It’s a new experience that makes us jump out of the clip-thinking and start building new neural connections. Which, in turn. Inevitably, lead to new thoughts, ideas and awareness, develop critical thinking. We learn to distinguish truth from fiction.
With this project I want to invite the viewers to engage in conscious thinking by unlocking spatial puzzles. Each photo of the project — invites you to look and find the borders of objects, their position relative to each other, find what is reflected in.
